Who has influenced you most in ministry and why? First and foremost Jesus Christ. He has changed my life and given me purpose and calling. I would be nothing without Him. Pastor Rob Salvato has been a huge influence in my life as well- a spiritual father, I am blessed to be serving under His leadership here at Calvary Vista. And last but not least, my wife. She has been a HUGE influence in my spiritual life. Because of her I am closer to Jesus. I am so tremendously blessed to call her my bride and best friend.
Favorite Bible verse and why? “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” (Proverbs 1:7)
First of all, how can you choose a favorite bible verse, there are so many! However, this verse has stuck with me since Jr. High. From an early age I have tried to recognize the importance of listening to and receiving instruction from others, especially those more seasoned in faith. I see the important connection between spiritual growth and having a heart that is willing to receive from the Lord and from others. I hope to always be someone open to receive wisdom and instruction.

Who has influenced you the most in ministry and why? From the bible I’ve learned from the examples of –Jesus, John the Baptist and Paul —humility, grace, love, and to serve others at the cost of self. Within the body of Christ I’ve learned the same from the lives of my family, the great staff and volunteers I work with, and too many women to name who have poured into me through the years of Women’s Bible study.
Favorite Bible verse and why? Philippians 2:1-11 The humility and obedience of Jesus, the great love demonstrated to me as He became a servant and died on the cross. “Let this mind be in you…” a great plumb line for living out my faith. The call to be of one mind, one accord, having the same love—esteem others over self. Grateful for these truths and the Spirit who helps me pursue them.

passion for Jesus. But ultimately, it has been my husband, who continually reflects the heart of Christ and agape love for His church.
Favorite Bible verse and why? 1 John 3:1-2: “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children
of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been
revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has
this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.” Why? Because I am in awe and wonder of the love of my Heavenly Father who calls me
His own and who has promised that one day I will see Him face to face and be forever changed into His likeness!
