The goal of our Women’s Ministry is to encourage you to make yourself at home in God’s love and His Word so that your life will produce spiritual fruit that impacts your sphere of influence at home and in this world.
We provide Bible studies, discipleship, events, retreats, and various home gatherings to help you grow spiritually and help you connect with other women for encouragement and accountability. We believe that every woman is an important part of the body of Christ and we make it our aim to provide a place to serve the Lord with gladness and use the gifts He has distributed by His grace, for His honor and glory, for the benefit and building of His church.
“I am the vine, you are the branches. She who abides in Me, and I in her, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. “ John 15:5
Abide & Abound
Women’s Prayer Group: 1st & 3rd Tuesdays
All women are invited to join us on the first and third Tuesday of each month as we pray for our church, ministries, prayer requests, missions, and more. 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. in Room 102.
Summer Beach Days: Thursdays
Pack up your beach gear, snacks, the kids and grandkids, and join us on Thursdays during the summer for fun and fellowship. Come and go as your schedule permits. We meet at Warm Waters Beach in Carlsbad (across from the Power Plant and north of the jetty).
Identity in Christ: One-to-One Discipleship
We offer an opportunity to be discipled by a mature woman who will take you through a study titled “Identity in Christ”. This will help you gain a firm foundation for the Christian life and also experience the blessing of a mentorship relationship. Contact Sue Galvez at firstname.lastname@example.org
Love in Action Meals Ministry
Do you desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a family in need here at our home church? Would you like to lift someone’s burden in a practical way? Calvary Vista Women’s Ministry would like to introduce you to our “Love in Action” Meals Ministry. The heart of this ministry is to provide meals to a family or individual whose needs are not already being met through their involvement in a small group Bible Study, Home Fellowship, family, or friends. Preparing meals is an excellent way to connect with others from our church. In times of need, a friendly warm smile and a tasty meal is good medicine. For more information and to join the team, contact Rita Hiller at email@example.com or fill out a volunteer form located under the “Connect” tab on the Calvary Vista home website page.
