2 Corinthians 1:3-4

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

POINTS TO PONDER:

  1. There is no comfort that God is not familiar with because He is the God of ALL COMFORT.
  2. God is not stingy with His comfort. He does not horde it. He freely gives the best comfort to His beloved children when we find ourselves in tribulation and trial.
  3. God’s comfort is for us and for others.
  • The Lord comforts us so that we would be able to comfort those who find themselves in similar trials.
  • The Lord is able to repurpose the comfort we receive in our trials for the benefit of others.
  • We are blessed to be a blessing.

TODAY’S CHALLENGE:

  • Take some time to write down how the Lord is bringing you comfort.
  • Ask yourself: “How can I clearly articulate this to someone who finds themselves in a similar trial?”
  • Pray that those who have no comfort would find comfort in the Lord.
