We believe we are created to worship, therefore we commit to the worship of Jesus in our services. Worship by its very nature takes our eyes off of ourselves and our current issues and places our attention on the Lord. That is why Jesus commands His followers to be worshipers.

“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” – John 4:23-24

We believe the church also exists to help people grow in their relationship with Jesus. We believe you are best prepared for that by frequently exposing yourself to the words of Jesus, both personally as you read it, at church as we teach it, and by connecting with others in small community groups.

“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.” – Ephesians 4:11-12

We believe God loves the world, so he sent His son to die for the sins of the world, and therefore desires to save those who are in the world. Therefore we believe it is our privilege and obligation to do everything we can to share Jesus in our services, in our community and around the world.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”. – John 3:16
